We help young adults learn important life skills ✓
A Range Of Activities
Unique Housing encourages our young adults to participate in meaningful activities to enhance both life and communication skills. From here, they have the power to turn an opportunities into a hobby; and possibly a career.
Whether this may be existing activities of interest, or new ones they would like to try. These are reviewed with activity planning, and reviewing the circumstances ongoing as to whether the activity is still suitable.

Education, Training & Employment
Unique Housing encourage and assist our young people to:

✓ Gain some work experience
✓ Apply for an apprenticeship
✓ Gain computer access for jon applications
A Lifestyle Coach
Unique housing provide a lifestyle coach providing support by encouraging young people to take part in the sporting activities provided at Unique Gym, providing support with nutritional plans if the young person would like it, or would benefit from this service.
✓ Diet, nutrition and hydration
✓ Advise on sleeping habits
✓ Support to explore interest in physical activities
✓ Free taster sessions at Unique Gym for Boxing, Kickboxing, BJJ
Planning & Preperation
Unique Housing encourages a routine, and to have set tasks and activities we need to complete with the young person throughout the week.
Some of these may include Weekly Timetables, Food Prep Assistance as well as:
✓ Daily/Weekly update logs of living and activities. These will be reviewed weekly to ensure we are meeting the child’s needs, provide any additional support in other areas.
✓ Monthly risk assessments completed by the Home Manager, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the young person is maintained exceptional.
Independence Skills
Unique Housing ensure that our young people will become independent with our support and gain many important life skills to help them adapt into adulthood efficiently.
Our support workers and home managers ensure that the child can learn how to plan, prepare, and cook nutritional meals. Our homes provide a comfortable, homely setting with an on-call system and key mentors available 24/7.
We help the young person budget with shopping and bills (ensuring any bills are made a priority.) Providing support to our young people, helps them to gain independent life skills in order to make their own appointments and making efficient travel planning decisions.
We provide extensive weekly support on preparation for independent living and pathway planning, adapted for each young person’s individual needs. We work with and support, where appropriate, with the young person’s family, in order to improve relationships and create a positive impact in the young person’s lives.
